Winter sports
The Pyrenees offer snow enthusiasts 2,110 kilometers of slopes served by 673 ski lifts. The nearby Grand Tourmalet/La Mongie ski area alone boasts over 100 kilometers of slopes and around 30 lifts at an altitude of 1,250 to 2,500 meters. In addition to downhill skiing, guided snowshoe hikes and dog sledding are available, and there are plenty of cross-country ski trails as well. For the perfect end to a great day of winter sports, various thermal baths with wellness facilities are available.
