We begin the day again with a delicious breakfast featuring local products and fresh eggs from our organic chickens.
After breakfast, we head to the spa town of Bagnère-de-Bigorres and visit its large weekly market. Every Saturday, gourmets and producers from the Pyrenees and the Gers region gather here. A feast for all the senses!
In the market hall, we enjoy an aperitif with delicious regional white wine and fresh oysters or hot and cold fish tapas.
We continue on to a small mountain pass and visit a typical Pyrenean inn serving delicious game and lamb specialties.
After lunch, we drive to the Col d'Aspin, a stop on the Tour de France route, where we enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains and take a short walk or hike, depending on your mood and fitness level.
Afterwards, we return to Château Lestéous and end the day with a delicious meal, good wine, and good conversation.
